Tools You Can Trust was a duo ( RobWard & Ben Steadman) from Manchester. There's Little or no info to be found on the web. They were often described as an experimental/industrial band , but experimental/post-punk would be a better term. This is a very energetic and underrated band and should get a whole lot more attention. The interesting part is that they swapped the guitar for non musical instruments such as : Pheumatic Drill, Reverberation Unit, Metal Cutter and Collinge Joiners giving it an industrial edge. This lp compiles there first 3 7"s, all released on Red Energy Dynamo Records. In 1980 "Cut A New Seam" (s401, tracks 3 & 6), in 1983 "Working and Shopping" (s101, tracks 1 & 4) and in 1984 "Show Your Teeth" (s301, tracks 2 & 5). Sharpen The Tools was released on Red Energy Dynamo Records (T501) in 1986. Read more on Last.fm.
