Seattle-based Vixy & Tony (Michelle Dockrey and Tony Fabris) have been performing Filk music as a duo since 2005. Best known for the Firefly anthem "Mal's Song", their folk/rock musical style, and science fiction and fantasy lyrics, combine to tell engaging stories. Vixy was formerly the lead singer and songwriter for the band Escape Key, whose album Shadowbeast contains the Pegasus-award-winning song "Girl That's Never Been". Later, they became a foursome, joining forces with Betsy Tinney and Sunnie Larsen on strings.
