Wench

There are five bands with the name 'Wench'. 1. An all female Thrash Metal Band from New York City. The Band released 2 Demos ("Stone Cold" & "Sumos Quad Sumos") before they have recorded their first CD. Most Songs from "A Tidy Size Chunk" are taken from these Demos. 2. Based in San Francisco, WENCH was an electronic music project created by Frances Byrne; musician, vocalist, programmer, performer, producer and engineer. Influenced by the sacred sounds and rhythms from exotic far off lands; such as Africa Malaysia, Japan and the Middle East and inspired by futuristic themes, Frances Byrne created a unique symphonic explosion of delicate and dreamy unwinding soundscapes and earpiercing sound effects, alien-like cries and pounding percussion with compassionate vocals that speak to the soul and empower the spirit, a utopian journey into a world beyond the nomadic reaches of the synthetic unknown. 3. An all female band from Bennington, VT 4, A stoner rock / hard rock band from Sydney Australia, formed in 2007 5.
