my name is wyatt keusch, and you are currently viewing my lastfm page. i am someone who is uncomfortable with third-person bios. i am a sound artist. what that means varies from person to person, though i feel it can function as a blanket term for activities such as music composition, sound design, interface/instrument design, installation work and recording engineering. i work in all of the aforementioned areas. i also produce work through collaborative projects with artists such as anthony cantor, sam jones, scott cazan and ethan braun. i live in los angeles, california, and am perpetually annoyed by that reality. in addition to my personal sound work, i also operate a netlabel called khalija. i started the khalija project while studying music technology at calarts. it is not so much a music business endeavor as it is an ongoing group project, producing both solo works by a variety of artists as well as collaborative releases by various configurations of the khalija collective. all resulting work is released digitally on this site, and also occasionally in limited edition runs of physical media. my work has also been released on the mille plateaux and force intel labels.
