Your Secret Identity

Both scorning and fighting Philadelphia area’s cover band scene, “pop-punk” bands, and solo guitarists who think they’re Jack Johnson or Dave Matthews, Your Secret Identity is Jay V Cruz’ pop-alternative music project. A solo artist by necessity, he created Your Secret Identity to produce his songs as full-band arrangements. In June 2006, he finished his four-track EP, entitled By The Way. The independently released EP pulls together songs written over a four-year span as an introduction to the forthcoming full-length album. All of the music is performed by Cruz, and all tracks are produced and recorded in his home project studio over the past year. The EP’s limited run will accompany him throughout the local area and turn new people on to his own style of emotional rock music. Read more on Last.fm.
