starting in the late 80's with an Amiga500 and trying to cope with sampling techniques, beitegeuze aka Thomas Berberich (born in 1977) was driven by his musical curiosity in exploring new sounds - accompanied by his heroes of electronic music, who all used hardware synthesizers. At the same time, techno was the new hype, and so beitegeuze produced bass'n'beat-driven tracks. After a while of experiencing with melodies, harmonies and musical atmospheres (and still without an academic knowledge of music), he stepped into ambient music (where he could technically apply all the things he felt). then in the late 90's he discovered the radio fm4 soundpark. There he published his tracks and got tied to peers, resulting in the netlabel laridae, where he released an ep and a full length album. For two years, he abandoned the scene for improving his musical and audio-technical abilities and to redefine his sound and music. recently he is working on a new full-length album named "concorde", to be finished and released in 2008. A new chapter is then to be written, he wants to thank all his fellows and supporters throughout the years. Read more on Last.fm.
