The Danish metal-rock band Annominus has been a contender in the Danish underground for a while. With a debut-record soon to be released, the band is determined to show their mettle within as well as outside the Danish borders, and in their minds there’s only one way forward; hitting the stage hard and with full throttle. Annominus started as an idea between the singer Jacob Zinn, drummer Mathias Wahl and guitarist Morten Fahnoe on a cold night in August, 2009. Their goal was to create a brand of music, which had elements from their favorite rock and metal genres and give it their own creative touch. After their first EP “Vashta Nerada” they quickly got attention from the local underground and also got 2 new members; Martin Nord as a guitarist and Peter Sandvig as a bass player. Today Annominus consists of Morten Fahnøe (lead guitar), Martin Hansen-Nord, (rhythm guitar) Peter Sandvig (Bass), Mathias Wahl (Drums and Screaming vocals) and Jacob Zinn (Vocals). Sound-wise Annominus is in a place that can best be described as a mixture of hard rock and metal. With crunching riffs, a powerful melodic vocal and a mixture of clean and dirty passages, their music is a balance between several different inspirations. A sound that gives the user a throwback to the metal scene in the early 2000’s but brings it into a new age, along with an injection of trucker-rock and a give’em-hell attitude. Read more on Last.fm.
