Augusta National Golf Club was a band from Ghent, Belgium, making music that was inspired by Radiohead, PJ Harvey, Wilco, The Cure and other alternative pop & rock bands. Singer, guitarist and songwriter was Steven Heene, other members were Ben Van Camp, guitars; Bram Delvaux, guitars; Klaas Delvaux, bass and Bart Bauters, drums. The track 'People in Pairs' was used for the soundtrack of the film 'Ex-drummer', based on a book by the Flemish writer Herman Brusselmans. Augusta National Golf Club also won the Diesel-U-Music Awards with the song 'Barefoot in Better Times'. The band no longer exists as several members started with new projects, such as Lonesome Puppy (Heene), Norsemen (Delvaux brothers) en Tiger Lili (Van Camp). Read more on Last.fm.
