Formed in the spring of 1989 in Hollywood, CA by Sean Gypsy Doll (vox), Eyajo Gypsy (keys) and Surfer Dan (guitars), the trio were joined by drummer Brian Elle and later bassist Brandy Vogue. Having recorded and released a 5-song demo, the Babydolls spent much time (as did their peers - the Glamour Punks, Juicy Miss Lucy, The Dum Dums, etc.) playing such Hollywood nightclubs as The Whiskey, The Roxy, The Red Light District, The Coconut Teaszer, etc. Sean left the band in 1990, as later did Brian and Brandy. Other members came and went, before Eyajo and Dan went on to form the deathrock band The Astrovamps. Sean went on to form Die My Darling in 2000. Read more on Last.fm.
