A musical project of the Noltex-Kunstverlag: "The concept to Barditus was designed by us in spring of the year 2004. It took shape very quickly. We named ourselves after the buckler-chant of our Germanic ancestors described by Tacitus in the Germania, because his description - whether now scientifically correctly or not – reflects quite well the character of our often martialic sound art. Three in short time-distances in the own "Studio Giebichen- stein" recorded publications attests this. Barditus is to be understood as an open music-project, which opens other performers the possibility opens to step with us into a cooperation. This concept carries first fruits through the publication of our work "Schwarzer Heiland" (Dark savior) as well as through that of us conceived, organized & produced the "Eichendorff-Liedersammlung". Altogether, the musical work of Barditus, in contrast to our acoustic, rather more contemplative projects, is probably more tend towards the neoclassic/epical." Read more on Last.fm.
