Dance House Children was a christian electronica and dance band from the early 1990s, consisting of the brothers Jason Martin and Ronnie Martin. The music they made is early Eurodance with a Californian twist to it. They released two albums, Songs & Stories and Jesus. Both CDs were re-issued in 1999 by Milennium8 Records. Jason Martin departed in 1993 to form his band Starflyer 59, but Ronnie continued the band with some new members, under the name Rainbow Rider. Ronnie currently records as Joy Electric. Ronnie and Jason recorded a self-titled album as The Brothers Martin, released in 2007. Dance House Children was a syth/pop band that broke new ground in the Christian music scene. Their albums used poetic imagery set to a sound that displayed an obvious Pet Shop Boys influence. Occasional songs, like "Sea Breeze," showcased Jason Martin's dizzying, psychedelic side.
