For a complete Bio, please reference http://www.dasubot.com for discography, streaming media, and official info and updates. Dasubot is the Project/ Producer name for Damian Brochey. Born in Butler, Pennsylvania in 1974, early influences were his Mother (Pianist), his Father (Guitarist), and Sister (Singer. Formerly with "Julia And The Unexpecteds" and currently the front woman of the band "Ode To The Marionette"). Early Hip-Hop pioneers like Afrika Bambaata, UTFO, Dougie Fresh, and Slick Rick played a role in piquing Damian's interest in music. Later, he joined the Pittsburgh punk scene, where he was a founding member (Bassist) of a local band. During this period, The Misfits, The Exploited, Sham 69, The Damned, and Black Flag played an influential role. Upon moving to Phoenix, Arizona, newer groups like Juno Reactor, The Prodigy, Air, Covenant and DnB outfits like AK1200, ShyFX, LTJ Buckem, Goldie and Dieselboy commanded his attention. It was during this time that he decided to branch off and create his own mutant offspring of all of these different influences. Dasubot was formed in 1999 and has since released 2 full length CDs, 1 EP, and has appeared on several compilations and a variety of internet-exclusive releases. Dasubot can also be heard in several short films, including most recently "Laughing Out Loud", which was screened at the 2008 Regensburger Kurzfilmwoche in Regensberg, Germany. Electronicity, the new 16 track CD, is scheduled to be released in March, 2010. Read more on Last.fm.
