Die In Progress, founded in 2005, is a German classic Industrial/hardcore Power Electronics band which created the genre of "Progressive Live Industrial". Florian Wein, who is singer of the Industrial Rock band THE LEECH, is the only permanent member. The music of DIP is exclusively played "live", without any compositions. This "free-style" is usually performed with keyboards and partially guitars. There are no certain "pre-ideas" for songs or structures. This gives every song a unique and not repeatable character. The end of 2005 and the beginning of 2006 marked the first phase of working. The songs became pure improvisations with a strong use of synthesizers. After a long break, the second phase of working on a debut release is currently on the run (end 2006/beginning 2007). The new creations feature still some Progressive Live Industrial elements, but are more and more power electronics-based. Also dark ambient parts are being integrated into the music.
