Fighting Instinct are a three-piece American rock band hailing from North Carolina. They consist of T.J. Harris (Vocals, guitar), Dallas Farmer (drums) and Jason Weekly. The band combines Southern-falvoured, soulful rock with intricate melodies, all with a modern rock edge. The band say their influences comes from classic rockers Led Zeppelin and Jimi Hendrix; Southern rockers such as Lynyrd Skynyrd; and modern bands like Soundgarden and Foo Fighters. The band scored a publishing deal with EMI and released their debut album - the self-titled 'Fighting Instinct' - in early 2006. Drummer Dallas Farmer recently left the band. FI is looking for a new drummer and a second guitarist to beef up their live show. They also recently signed with a new booking agency. Look for these boys to be touring a little more often now.
