Laissez Faire

There are at least SIX bands known as "Laissez Faire": 1 - Three Piece girl group based out of Miami Florida. Laissez Faire released 4 12" Maxi Singles from 1988-1992 and released the freestyle classic full length CD "Hands Off" in 1992 on Metropolitan Records. Laissez Faire hit the TOP 40 billboard charts with their single "In Paradise" written and produced by Joey Gold in early 1989."After The Lovin" "To Be In Your Arms" and Round & Round all followed with some radio/club play. Laissez Faire still perform at Freestyle concerts across the USA. 2. Five piece experimental hardcore band from Hawaii. 3. A greek band, formed in Thessaloniki during 2006, playing post-punk / new wave. The band's members are, according to their official facebook website: Laissez Faire were formed in 2006 in Thessaloniki Greece The band consists of: Milky (Vocals), Panoz L.(Drums), Kostas L.(Bass), Νikos Ch.(Guitar), Αlex O.(Guitar), Vaso Z.(Keyboards) They have a postpunk/new wave sound, with 80s'-00's influences. They released their first (D.I.Y) album in 2011 named "No land for escape" with exclusive distribution from Echozone (DE). Banda alternativa de Buenos Aires, con influencias Spinettianas muy del rock argentino de los 70’s combinadas a su vez con el nuevo pop argento en la línea de Emanuel Horvilleur luego de dejar Illya Kuryaki and the Valderramas. Laissez faire surge a principios de 2005 en capital federal. El nombre es adoptado por una teoria fisiocratica a priori a la revolucion francesa que daba lugar a los comerciantes al libre mercado. Se tomo el nombre con el proposito de un dejar hacer , creer , pensar , amar y verbos que tengan que ver con lo libertario , el libre pensamiento , diversa expresion y una anarquia no regulativa ; algo que mute , cambie y de la posibilidad de sentir y conocer . Que todo sea una relacion para formar un ideal ( obviamente diverso ). No hay lechos ni olas politicas , ni sociales ni estructurales , todo queda a servir del canal y el receptor el cual emerge la musica laissez . Los estilos a los cuales se asemeja la banda son varios , por eso se trata de cultivar y expresar un poco de cada genero.de aquí la idea de explayarse , con dos set , un electrico , que cuenta con la lirica y la melodia unida fuertemente , y otro acustico , en los cuales ingresan temas mas dulces , de nylon y con otros instrumentos en mano , mas alla de los comunes , explora raices como el folk , algo de trova y la cancion que es la esencia de la banda.
