Li Li Can't Drive is Lee Byron Cox, a southern songwriter from Louisville, Ky. Lee came back to music after a ten year absence to release his best work "Ignore ,Snore ,Snore" in September of 2006. The album was recorded on very old analog equipment at his home. JP Crabtree engineered and played drums and bass on the album, and is considered one half of Li Li Can't Drive. Lee and JP collaborated nearly ten years earlier in high school playing in both PHOBI and Sledge together. Lee can play multi instuments, but is most noted for his guitar work combined with his strained vocal ability. In 2008 Li Li Can't Drive released critically acclaimed "Aloha from Kentucky", "Fools Gold" was widely regarded as the best single on the album, but the band decided to use "Amalayho" as their first video.
