MyParasites

Instigated by personal complications and heartache, MyParasites was conceived into this world in early 2004. Eventually a team of revolving live band members was haphazardly assembled with the eager intent to play live. A few shows throughout the years questioned the importance of this project. It wasnt untill late 2007 that MyParasites was provoked to unleash its true potential. Motivated by confustion, lies, deceit, and heartbreak, there was no other option except to mutate this betrayal into a form of music. MyParasites became a compulsion to force out emotion through music. Combining elements of Industrial, screamo, and aggrotech, MyParasites coined the genre "ScrEBM", evolving into a mechanical blending of pure withdrawn emotion, along side a unique parasitic sound. In February of 2010, our best friend and synth player J. Rivet passed away. He had played with MP since 2007. J was a huge part of MyParasites and a dear friend to everyone.
