There are at least 3 bands with this name. 1. Thrash Metal band from Finland. 2. Grunge band from Pensacola, FL. 3. Thrash/stoner band from Hungary. About Needless(HUN): The band was formed on the New Year’s Eve of 2003. on a party of 10 people. The band, namely Bárány Tamás (guitar), Németh Zoltán (drums), and Forczek Ádám (voice/bass) back than tried to make a concert with a very slight musical knowledge. The “slight” word is taken to be very seriously here, as the band mates got their instruments about 2 months before the concert, and tried to do some remakes from bands like Nirvana, Soad and The Ramones, with more or less success… Though, a lot of people listened to them, and after all, through the next two years the band did a lot of remakes. Thanks to the then blooming rock life of Monor, the Needless could perform on several concerts, under the assistance of the Rockstorm Cultural Association, in Monor, Pilis and in Cegléd too. Meanwhile the repertoire of the remakes became bigger and bigger (e.g.: with Soulfly, Sepultura), and besides, the thought of creating own songs became stronger. Moreover, the forming of a kind of line of sight started, which line still can be formed, and in the eyes of the band it is constantly changing. Loads of tends and bands influenced the Needless, which would be too long to list here. There are some motifs, themes though, which haven’t changed since 2005. What are these? It could be best described by expectations: it should be more and more heavy, aggressive and honest! The final result is always something different, something new, what keeps our music alive. The close of the happenings of 2005 was a long time friends’ acceptance to the band, specifically the new band mate was Bánfalvi László. So finally the line-up, which is fully from Dánszentmiklós, took shape: Bárány Tamás guitar, Németh Zoltán drums, Bánfalvi László bass, Forczek Ádám voice/lyrics. From this on, our music found a lot of sub branches under the notion of metal. Our music, from death metal to the southern music, musters up a lot of motifs; through the years it started to develop, but still we have a lot to learn. By the summer of 2007, all our songs’ lyrics (till the year 2008, it was 12) were translated to English.  The August of 2007 was a very happy period in the life of the band, as on the talent scout of the Töserdő festival of Lakitelek, the band reached the final, and in the end the 7th position. Here we had the opportunity to make acquaintance with some bands with similar music styles, tastes. Nowadays the days of the Neddless revolve around the studio and the making of the demos, the first, promising results of which are already here, and we will share it with you.  About 4 years have passed since we started.
