Sharon Knight

Sharon Knight is a San Francisco based songwriter whose music stems from Celtic folk tradition. She performs both traditional and original music and strives to create a modern interpretation for folk traditions, incorporating rock, blues, and world music elements into her art. Her songs are steeped in myth and magic, with striking poetic imagery and fantastical characters. She is most often compared with Loreena McKennitt, Sandy Denny, and Steeleye Span.
