Simon's latest solo acoustic album (un)plugged was released in April 2012, and is available from available from Bandcamp. The Knowledge of Things To Come, his debut album Mandala and the Rejectamenta EP are also available from simonlittlebass.com. His solo projects focus on creating layered textures as a basis for improvisation through the use of effects and live-looping technology. Born in London, Simon is a UK session bassist best known for his work with The Divine Comedy, Clare Teal, Maggie Reilly, Duke Special and The Duckworth Lewis Method. Simon started a solo bass project in 2008, and his debut solo album Mandala was released in August 2010. A graduate of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, Simon joined The Divine Comedy in 2002 and is still a regular member of the band. He has since toured and recorded with Clare Teal, Maggie Reilly, A Girl Called Eddy, Duke Special, The Duckworth Lewis Method and Chris Difford. As a jazz bass player he plays regularly with Ian Shaw, Lea Delaria, Symeon Cosburn, and Nina Ferro. Simon has also played with Nick Cave, Carleen Anderson, Beth Rowley and Ben Folds.
