Subtract by Two began one late summer night near the University of North Carolina at Greensboro's campus when James W. Hill met Kyle Bobby Dunn. The two shared a similar taste in philosophy and late night coffee binges. During the conception, however, various annoying acquaintances began throwing up cheap red wine, some incessantly nagging Kyle Bobby Dunn to sleep with them, and others stealing Hill's vehicle to sell for drugs in the roughest parts of town. Recording was somehow made possible during these pathetic occurrences. Through complete demises and failures in dealing with human needs, procured disease, cry babies, and erratic behavior at best, Dunn kind of called it quits after their 2004 gone 2005 release of biblical proportion, Agoniser Ecrire. Their friendships faded into unknown corners and the last things known from the duo are unspeakable, other than Dunn's work, which is a true extension in some of this rather meager work: Kyle Bobby Dunn.
