The Electrics are a Celtic rock group, based Scotland. The band have been around since 1988, and are by no means new boys on the circuit. Many years of touring around Europe and the U.S. have left an indelible mark on the festival scene, and on those who have been to an Electrics live gig. With many albums worth of high energy Celtic Rock music, and an attitude of just going out on stage to have a good time, the band have led many an audience into 'Party Mode' and rocked the night away. They have been referred to in the past as a 'sober version of The Pogues'.but have since amended that phrase and added 'only faster and noisier too' !! Over the years the band have gone through a few line-up changes, leading to the current line-up which is possibly its strongest ever. The roll call of rogues known as 'The Electrics' reads Sam Horner - Bass and Lead Vocal Jim Devlin - Guitar, Mandolin and backing vocals Tim Cotterell - Fiddle Davie McArthur - Drums Check out the page on My Space for more at www.myspace.com/theelectrics And the website at www.theelectrics.co.uk (HUGE overhaul soon,honest;-) JimmyD Read more on Last.fm.
