We were given one task: To create feelings among the audience and make people to think by themselves. The journey has begun. In the world we live in, the fact is that dreams don’t come true, you have to make your dreams to come true. The following mantra is how we are just about to brainwash you: Good mood chords, sticky melodies, added with meaningful lyrics, filled with questions, topped with killer choruses. As a result we are giving you the universal answer and meaning for what music is all about: emotions. With hands on our chest we are obviously rude and obnoxious, but very proud to present that we are probably the happiest band in the world. We are Pete & Heikki, aka. Automatic Eye. And if you still haven’t heard the news yet, chorus is our god. Magazine) The rockpop-theatre called Automatic Eye has begun. With the first single release “Away From Sunshine” in 2008, Automatic Eye quickly rose to the front line of Finnish music scene. The single was a big hit and got massive radio play, staying several months in the top positions in different channels. At the same time the music video was on repeat on The Voice and MTV. After the release of the debut album “Don’t Let The Past Come Between You And Your Happiness” it went straight to the top 20 in the official Finnish album charts. The band was also rewarded as the listeners of YleX voted Automatic Eye the “Best New Act 2008″. AE has been touring a lot, with 100 shows starting from Finland, showing the appreciated energetic live show on European stages and crossing the world all the way to Japan. Automatic Eye was also chosen to be the Finnish representative in EuroSonic Noorderslag-Festival 2009 in the Netherlands. While touring Automatic Eye has recorded their second album.
